We have owned this Pataua South property since 2012, we took a journey renovating everything from its original 50’s bach décor and it’s one of our favorite places to stay. We call it Pataua Fiji as it’s our little slice of Fjii paradise right here in New Zealand! Pataua North and Pataua South are connected by a foot bridge only with O to 0 drive to the nearest 4 square, café and bakeries from Pataua South.
Whether it’s fishing, surfing, boating, kayaking, or swimming, you are spoilt for choice. The Pataua North Beach is a beautiful golden sand beach frequented by fishermen and surfers. The inner tidal estuary, provides a safe haven from the surf and currents which is where our bach is located.

Pataua South beach (also known as Frogtown) is a very popular family
beach, ideal for boogie boarding or just playing in the waves. It’s an
intimate bay with a beautiful white sand beach.
The local campground shop is open over the summer months, selling
baked goods, ice creams and of course fish and chips located just 5
minutes walk from the bach.
